Nanoemulsions is a small Croatian company founded on September 2, 2022.

In recent decades, rapid technological development has opened up possibilities for the creation of “new” products.

If conducted properly, the processes of extracting active substances from plants rely on technological development in an efficient manner to maximise health benefits provided by plants.

What was until recently available only to the “big”, mostly processing companies, nowadays is available to “smaller” companies such as ours. Specifically, the use of ultrasonic technology in the processes of extraction, homogenization and emulsification (nanoemulsions) of active substances from the Cannabis sativa L plant. This plant is extremely rich in phytochemicals (according to the 2015 data, it contains more than 540 substances), which is why it has an enormous health potential, as well as a positive impact on the environment. Naturally, we do not intend to limit ourselves to this plant alone, as the entire plant world has an inexhaustible health potential – its structure is the basis of more than 60% of present-day pharmacology.

Our goal is to produce high-quality products without a negative environmental impact, which is why the entire process, from seed selection through planting to the final product, is conducted under a strict control, in cooperation with certified oil mills and labs and in compliance with all legal regulations and legislative framework.

The plants are grown by using the biodynamic and organic cultivation methods in the open air, on the island of Rab.

The plants are exposed to the elements (storms, winds, rain showers, sleet, changes in temperature, etc.), thus acquiring an increased vital energy, i.e. potency. They are watered from an underground water course at the depth of 30 metres. The water is rich in minerals and chlorine-free. By paying close attention to ecological principles, we strive to incorporate human activity in the environment in a holistic manner, and to treat the soil as a living organism. Such an approach requires dedication and patience, and the yield, i.e. the quantity of final products is lower than it would be if more intensive growing methods were used.
